BOEEP high strength and capacity belt type filter press is a dual function industrial sludge dewatering machine that combines concentration and dewatering in one integrated system. Compared with traditional gravity belt filter presses, this equipment achieves larger treatment capacity and lower sludge cake moisture content through a multiple press roll and high pressure roll structure. It features a fully enclosed external door structure for safe operation and convenient maintenance. The machine is specially designed for processing unconcentrated sludge such as A/O residual sludge from wastewater treatment systems.

It operates stably without impact, vibration or abnormal noise, and is engineered to reliably work in harsh environments with high temperature and 100% humidity.

Key Structure & Design Features

The complete sludge feeding, dosing, mixing and reaction processes are realized inside the dewatering system. All dehydration and cake discharge pipelines run under laminar flow conditions to avoid sedimentation and blockage.

The main frame is fixed with anchor bolts and equipped with a leveling adjustment device for easy installation.

Fully enclosed external door structure ensures clean working conditions and easy maintenance access.

Stable mechanical structure ensures long term reliable operation.

Working Principle

Gravity Thickening & Dewatering Zone

Flocculated sludge is evenly distributed onto the filter belt. In the long horizontal and low angle lifting section, free water is separated from sludge flocs under gravity. Most free water is filtered out, and the sludge loses fluidity. It is then scraped into the next dewatering zone.

Wedge Shaped Pre Dewatering Zone

Thickened sludge enters the wedge shaped zone formed by upper and lower filter belts. The wedge space becomes narrower gradually, providing mild extrusion. Slurry is further homogenized and loses residual fluidity, preparing for high pressure squeezing.

Pressing Dewatering Zone

Press rollers are arranged from large to small diameter, so squeezing force increases progressively. Sludge is fully dehydrated through crushing, staggering and shearing via multiple S shaped squeezing rolls. The cake is scraped off automatically. The upper and lower filter belts are cleaned and returned to start a new cycle.

FAQ

What is the difference between BOEEP belt filter press and traditional gravity belt filter press?

BOEEP belt filter press integrates thickening and dewatering functions, so it can treat sludge without an independent thickening tank. With multi roll and high pressure structure, it provides larger treatment capacity and lower sludge cake moisture content.

What moisture content can be achieved for the sludge cake?

The final sludge cake moisture content is 75%–85% for DNYF2.0 model. The full series ranges from 70%–85%, depending on sludge type and inlet concentration.

What types of sludge is this machine suitable for?
