BOEEP
BOE
This low-temperature sludge drying system from BOE Environmental can directly reduce the moisture content of wastewater or sludge with a moisture content of 83% or less to just 10% to 30%. It achieves a volume reduction of up to 90% and a sterilization rate of 90%. It features low energy consumption and produces no pollution, making it suitable for the drying and volume reduction of both municipal sludge and industrial sludge (such as from textile dyeing, papermaking, electroplating, chemical processing, leather manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals). After drying, the sludge with a moisture content of 10% to 30% can be further processed through gasification, co-incineration, composting, or converted into building materials, thereby achieving harmless and resource-efficient treatment.

★ 10%-30% moisture content, reduction can reach more than 80%
★ 1:4 dehumidification ratio, twice the industry standard
★ No odor emission, no need for deodorization device
★ No heat loss, 100% heat utilization
★ Operating cost as low as 180kw.h/T
★ Low temperature is safer and no dust hazard

FAQ
1. What is the working principle of the BOE low-temperature waste heat sludge dryer?
It uses low-temperature heat pump dehumidification combined with a closed-loop hot air circulation system to dry sludge at 40–80°C, with condensate discharged. The process is safe, dust-free, and results in minimal heat loss.
2. What types of sludge can it handle?
Municipal sludge and industrial sludge (from dyeing, papermaking, electroplating, chemical processing, leather, pharmaceuticals, etc.) with a moisture content of <83% are all suitable.
3. What is the reduction rate and final moisture content?
Sludge with a moisture content of 83% or less is dried to 10%–30%, achieving a maximum reduction rate of 90%.
4. Does it produce odors or wastewater?
The fully enclosed design prevents any odor leakage; condensate can be discharged directly or returned to the wastewater treatment system.
5. What is the energy consumption?
Operating cost is approximately 180 kWh per ton of wet sludge; by utilizing factory waste heat, energy savings of about 34% compared to steam drying can be achieved.
6. Is it safe? Is there any risk of dust explosion?
Operates at low temperatures (<80°C), with oxygen content <12% and dust concentration <60 g/m³, eliminating explosion risks and eliminating the need for nitrogen purging.
7. What can dried sludge be used for?
Safe and resource-efficient disposal methods such as gasification, co-incineration, composting, and manufacturing of building materials.
8. How to choose the right model?
We provide customized solutions based on processing capacity, initial moisture content, sludge type, waste heat conditions, target moisture content, and intended end-use.
